Ebooks are books that are only written and published online. They are not published either in hard copy or paper copy. If the reader wants to read the ebook offline, they either have to download and save it on their computer or they can print it out.
Ebook is a growing phenomenon i.e. most small writers are publishing their own ebooks. It is convenient and easy to make an ebook. If you are writer or an aspiring writer, writing your own ebook would make it possible for your work to be known to people. It is not easy to sign a contract with a big publishing company. Big publishing companies want to publish books that will make money for them. The people that gets their book published easier are people that have been featured on the new media. Not every one has the opportunity to be like them. People that haven’t been in the news media finds it difficult to get their works published. Read their biography, you would find that they have to go from one publishing company to another.
